London, UK -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/31/2010 -- HansaWorld, an award-winning provider of integrated business solutions, announced today the release of its latest update for the Enterprise by HansaWorld Integrated Business Platform.

“The new update to Enterprise demonstrates our commitment to simplify and enhance the customer experience, deliver new modules and features while further improving on a vast number of existing features,” said Karl Bohlin, Managing Director of HansaWorld. He further stated, “These new developments are a direct result of a constant two-way communication with our customers and partners. Their feedback and our innovative approach to development ensures that we always deliver the most critical functionality updates and the most needed new features to our software in the shortest amount of time possible.”

A completely new module, TimeKeeper, is introduced for industries’ employees that are required to record their working hours by clocking in and out on the job. Not only does this module allow the employers to track times that employees arrive to and leave work, but also to use the planned shifts feature to restrict logging in and out, before the allotted time slot. The TimeKeeper module can also interface with devices such as fingerprint and card readers, in order to automate the clocking in and out procedures. And as always with Enterprise, various working hours related reports can be run at any time.

Enterprise version 6.1 also brings 3 additional internet based services to the table. Apple products' Warranty Status Check function is created specifically for Apple product distributors and resellers to help them with instantly checking the warranty status of Apple hardware products. The FedEx Electronic Delivery Tracking service allows users to interact with FedEx software directly from the Delivery record, utilising some of its advanced functionality. With its new Remote Backup service, Enterprise provides you with yet another way to protect and secure your data, this time in a remote location. Scheduled automated backup processes can now keep your data in a remote and fully scalable location without the use of any of your IT staff.

In Enterprise version 6.1, the Job Costing module received a number of very useful tools for better project management such as Project Schedules, Project Phases, Retentions and others, allowing your Project Managers to have better control over their processes.

Technical aspects of the software also received improvements, most notably the Automatic Version Update and Remote Backup features. Furthermore HansaWorld implemented a few new country-specific changes to its software.
