Dubai, UAE -- (SBWIRE) -- 07/23/2010 -- Eton Institute, the leading language training centre in the U.A.E, that recently earmarked over AED 18000/- in scholarships for 25 individuals to learn Arabic at a subsidised rate of AED 600/-, has set aside an additional AED 20000/- and is extending this unique offer to 25 additional learners in light of the overwhelming response received for the scholarships.

Dr. Eli Abi Rached, Director of Eton Institute commented: “It’s great to see the tremendous interest and enthusiasm there is in learning and embracing Arabic, the local language of the Arabs. As soon as we announced the scholarships last week, we were inundated with requests and the places were filled in no time. In view of this, we decided to extend the offer to 25 additional learners due to popular demand.”

The special subsidised Arabic course, priced at just AED 600 after a scholarship discount of AED 750, that is 55% OFF the course fee, will involve 30 hours of learning over 4 weeks, covering an entire beginner’s level in the language. Practical and based on real-life communication, this course will build a strong foundation for learners to begin speaking, listening, reading and writing in Arabic. Based on the most widely accepted and understood Modern Standard Arabic, the course will allow new learners to participate in frequently encountered and predictable conversations such as introducing one’s self, talking about family, asking for directions etc.

Dr. Eli added: “So many of us have always wanted to learn Arabic but have never gotten around to doing so because of budget or time constraints. Apart from making learning so affordable and accessible for all, this course is perfect for those who get off work early this Ramadan and have a little extra time on hand to develop their skills.”

The second batch of the special subsidised Arabic beginner course will be conducted from 08 August to 02 September and will involve 30 hours of learning over 4 weeks. Classes will be conducted daily, Sundays to Thursdays, from 4:00 to 5:30 pm.

Interested learners may confirm attendance for the course by paying AED 600/-online through this link: http://www.eton.ac/special-offers-arabic.php . Alternatively, they may call 800-Eton (8003866) or email contact@eton.ac for more information.
