As a pioneer in the field of massage therapy, Jan O'Malley opened the first massage therapy clinic in Lake County, Illinois. After Jan graduated, from the Chicago School of Massage Therapy, in the top of her class, in 1983, she set up her private practice of massage therapy in her home in Lake Villa.

Soon, Jan was booked with massage therapy appointments five weeks in advance. The public's curiosity was piqued by this new therapy.
