Houston, TX -- (SBWIRE) -- 12/23/2014 -- While children's books have long been a staple of the literary world, both readers and critics are currently crying out for wholly-original stories that don't succumb to recycling of the 'same-old' concepts. Thankfully, V.A. Farria has stepped up to the plate and is already making waves with a book carrying a message for all of humanity.

'Earth Allies' ultimately promotes the power and importance of love, wrapped up in a gripping adventure that proves no feat is impossible.

Synopsis:

Earth Allies is a short story about the pending destruction of Gaia/Mother Earth and all of her inhabitants.

Twelve year old Ethan encounters two fairy creatures in the forest while walking home from school one day. (He is the only one who can see the fairies). The fairies, Cristobel and Sugarplum, approach Ethan and asks for his help. For centuries fairies all across earth have performed various tasks to help with balancing Mother Earth. But, now Mother Earth is at a critical stage. She has been abused by the surface dwellers (humans) who have depleted her resources. She is experiencing a high increase in earthquakes, floods, fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, and droughts. Now the fairies need human children to work with them to save Mother Earth. The children need to join together on October 28th in a circle to visualize love and healing for Mother Earth.

Ethan and his friend Rory decides to post a video on YouTube explaining what needs to occur on the 28th and asks for volunteers. They get a huge response. They also learn that there are videos on YouTube from kids in other countries who are also seeking volunteers for this event.

After a few challenges, Ethan organizes a group to meet on the school's football field on October 28th. At 6:00 a.m. on the 28th kids all over the United States meet at various locations to create a powerful visualization of love and healing that will save Mother Earth. The fairies are also joining together in circles to prepare for the visualization.

The students are in circles holding hands. With their eyes closed and faces pointing upwards towards the sun, they visualize love and healing light going into Mother Earth. This energy of love is so powerful that it illuminates each student running through them like an electric current and lifts them a few inches off the ground. When it is over everyone is crying tears of joy. In the days, week, and months to come Mother Earth is balanced.

The president appears on TV praising the children for what they have done. He asks that nations follow the example of the children and unite to bring change for a better future and create a new earth. Ethan and Rory are invited to the White House and is presented a special award for their humanitarian work. Ethan donates the award to his school.

"It's vital that children learn the importance of accepting one another and embracing love, compassion and unity," explains the author, already a published poet. "If a child follows their heart and pursues something they believe in, each of their dreams can become a reality."

Continuing, "This story also takes a wider perspective, promoting the support of family, respecting Mother Nature and taking care of her earth. It's an extremely well-rounded narrative that will leave young minds with plenty to think about."

Since its release, the book has garnered a string of rave reviews. AB comments, "I purchased this book for my 12 year old daughter. As with any book I purchase for my daughter, I had to check it out for to make sure it was appropriate for. After reading the first chapter it hard to put away. I found myself reading the entire book. Each chapter made me want to know what was going to happen next. I was intrigued by the author's distinct details throughout the story. I was able to visualize every detail of the story, which made me feel like I was actually there."

Rachelle adds, "My nine year old daughter is not a huge fan of reading; however, she LOVED this book! She said it was exciting and adventurous. She did not want to stop reading it."
