Plymouth, WI -- (SBWIRE) -- 02/16/2015 -- Through all military strategy, public funding and harrowing loss of life – violence in the Middle East ultimately boils down to religious discord. While geopolitics and the world-at-large is at loggerheads about to how to end the conflict, one U.S. man's own explorations of faith could provide the answer.

Gary P. Ferguson exposes all in 'The Greatest Story Never Told: A Layman's Search for Faith in the Modern World', volume one of his new 'Christian Dialogues' series. It's an invite to both believers and non-believers to question the very core of their existence and ultimately unite humanity.

Synopsis:

A layman, the son of a Protestant minister, goes on a journey of exploration deep into his Christian faith, and discovers an interpretation so unexpected, and so powerful, it can end the violence in the Middle East and bring an age of peace between Christians, Jews, and Muslims.

"While based on faith, this book doesn't ever preach," explains the author. "Instead, I compel people to take a journey through their own faith, or lack of, and decide for themselves what it means to them. There's also the question of why; why do you believe and how can you use it to empower the world around you?"

Continuing, "The actual story of the book uncovers something equally powerful – that all religious disagreement and violence in the world is fundamentally useless and without point. There's a special focus on the violence in the Middle East, as it's a war that has been raging for thousands of years, with a modern conflict everyone can relate to. I truly believe that what I have found has the ability to end all of this violence and foster true harmony between Christians, Jews, Muslims and everybody else in the melting pot."

Ferguson uses each of his books to relate to actual scripture.

"We do not act the way the God of Abraham intended His children to live. This is especially evident right now in the Middle East. Future books will focus on other areas of the Bible and allow readers to apply teachings to everyday life, while hopefully changing their views on issues that have strayed from God's core word," he adds.

'The Greatest Story Never Told' is due for release on March 6th.
