Golden Dance Experiment has launched a Kickstarter project to raise funds for its Season 3 performance schedule which includes both choreography and a music video production.
Baltimore, MD -- (SBWIRE) -- 02/24/2015 -- Golden Dance Experiment will host a choreography showcase of new dance pieces in its third season to run September 2014 to August 2015. This showcase will feature local Baltimore artists, dancers and musicians. This year, the showcase will feature not only choreography and music but also a video production of "Denihilsm" by Gonzostien. Golden Dance Experiment has launched a Kickstarter campaign at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1984284106/golden-dance-experiment-season-3-projects-and-perf in order to raise funds for this project.
These funds will be used to pay artists and rent a theater for the event as well as pay for touring costs to a charity event hosted by the founder of Cirquisoria, Serena Christine. Funds will also help meet the production costs of the video of "Denhilism," which will be produced by Raven Black. The video will portray an exploration of the dark side of humanity, based on the Nietzsche quote: "He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." The video will showcase the best of Golden Dance Experiment and will provide a way to share the talent of these dancers and musicians with a larger audience.
The video shoot will take place on March 8, 2015, and the performance in the Cirquisoria charity event will take place on March 14, 2015. Golden Dance Experiment offers several prizes at different levels of pledging, including a calendar at the $20 level, a t-shirt at the $30 level, a private class at the $50 level and a two-hour personal training session at the $100 level.
