New Britain, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/03/2015 -- Since 2012, JLC International has supplied the exceptional ultrasonic inline flowmeter Atrato, a flowmeter for extreme low flows, down to 2 cc/min at ± 1% of reading. The Atrato comes standard with a selectable analogue output, two pulse outputs and a hard wired relay for alarm purposes. Available in 140°F (60°C) and 230°F (110°C) temperature versions and a 435 psi (30 bar) higher pressure model, it also has a USB port for interfacing with a computer. The interface software is supplied on a USB stick. The software provides real-time view and configuration capabilities for the outputs, display settings, if equipped and diagnostic tools.
Many users were inquiring for data logging capabilities. JLC International is pleased to announce the introduction of such a feature. With all new orders the Atrato's will feature a flow data recorder enabling data recording via an external computer. It provides monitoring, reporting and management of flow data – the Atrato flow data recorder delivers a continuous report of the flow process and an excellent alternative to restrictive and costly manual metering.
Users can choose from a wide range of time periods and functions over which to store results. Flow data sets are saved as .csv files that can be imported directly to various programs for future processing. Data recording can be set up to be actual readings averaged or every number of samples over a time period. Examples of data recorded include total, output transistors, analogue outputs, actual flow rate, filtered flow rate, and ultrasonic signal strength.
The new software interface is very easy to set up and can also be used with any Atrato flowmeter manufactured after June 2013. Therefore, industries currently running an Atrato ultrasonic flowmeter that are interested in the new interface software with data recording, can contact JLC International and provide the serial number. If the Atrato flowmeter is eligible – manufactured after June 2013 – the company will be pleased to send the new software, free of charge.
