The Shooting Star Project by Geminid Press, LLC is seeking input from contributors to choose the next novel for publication. Now, the publisher has launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund the project and bring attention to new novelists.
Albuquerque, NM -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/13/2015 -- The Shooting Star Project is an effort by Geminid Press, LLC to bring new authors to the attention of the public by allowing those who participate in the Kickstarter project at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/323422372/shooting-star-project-publish-a-new-author to choose the next novelist for publication. The Shooting Star Project allows contributors to read and critique all the aspects of several new novels and ultimately help make a choice as to which new book will be the next to be published by Geminid Press.
If the project receives full funding, Geminid Press, LLC will be publishing a book by a new and up-and-coming novelist. Project contributors will be asked to vote on genre, audience, writing samples, titles, covers, descriptions and other factors related to the publication of an upcoming novel. Contributors will be able to review all aspects of each novel and vote for their favorites.
In order to participate in the novel decision-making process, a minimum contribution of $25 is required. Pledge levels up to $500 are available with perks ranging from complimentary Kindle books to the right to name a character in an upcoming novel. Other perks include signed copies of the various novels from Geminid Press, LLC, including the one chosen by contributors for publication.
