Leeds, England -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/27/2015 -- One of the UK's best providers of affordable envelopes, Discount Envelopes, have backed calls from the EU Environment commissioner to bring in new legislation to ensure more use of recycled materials.
The European Environment Commissioner has promised the Environment Public Health and Food Safety Committee that more will be done to increase recycled materials in EU supply chains, adding further detail to circular economy proposals set to take effect towards the end of the year.
He said that he wants to strive for an economy in which products are designed and manufactured in such a way as to encourage more efficient and affordable recycling, promoting the use of said materials and lowering the environmental impact of the EU supply chain. New recycling targets are set to be put forward before 2015.
