House Prices Fall 0.1%: Elephant Removals Comments

London, England -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/27/2015 -- Recent figures released by The Bank of England, in conjunction with Nationwide, show the average house price fell by 0.1% o to £187,964 in February, compared to a slightly higher £188,446 in January. This means that annual house price growth is part of what could be seen as an overall slowing down, as is now at its lowest level since September 2013. Mortgage rates have also stayed close to all-time lows, which is an advantage as the employment market continues to improve also. These prospects have prompted much awareness and comment from related services, such as, in this case, Elephant Removals.

The figures from the Bank of England also show an element of buoyancy in that the number of mortgages taken before February showed a slight increase, as well as an increase in home loans. This increase of movement around areas of property can have wide implications for other services. It is these services, such as transportation and transfer services, as well as possible legal costs, which often implicate those moving property.

Elephant Removals are experts in the area and have been quick to comment.

"The publication of these figures in relation to house prices could have a number of implications," A spokes person said "It might be seen as part of an increase of movement or strategically transferring property. Although falling prices may be seen as bad in some people's eyes, others are moving – such as those in the capital – as house prices may be much more difficult to gauge approaching the General Election and different party stances.

Furthermore, the increase of home loans may inject optimism into those hoping to move – making it more of a possibility. Yet we are aware that for those moving property – whether home, office or business – these big costs are of primary concern. Therefore, it is in those essential services alongside – such as removal and freight services – that affordability and accessibility are desirable.

As a key removal service we aim to make whenever move, wherever move, as stress-free as possible. Whether are moving to make the most of the economic situation, want some security for the future or want a 2015 of change and new opportunities– the need people have for moving, according to the changing climate of the housing market, can be diverse. We aim to consider the individual needs of each and every client as part of this. That is why we offer an array of freight and removal services."
