Richboro, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 05/08/2015 -- As students are counting down the days until summer vacation, parents are searching for a variety of activities to keep their children occupied while out of school. To introduce kids to the sport of golf, Northampton Valley Country Club is announcing registration availabilities for their junior golf camp this summer season. The 14th annual junior camp at one of the renowned Philadelphia public golf courses is an opportunity for every child to participate and learn the fundamentals that will take their golf game to the next level.
With a proven method of teaching, and utilization of the GASP system (Grip, Aim, Stance, and Posture), each camp will focus on each aspect of the game including the rules and course etiquette. There are six sessions throughout the summer, each package running from Monday through Friday at 8:30 am. The first session begins on July 13, and the last session ends on August 21. The cost for each child is $275 per session.
Each day, Northampton Valley Country Club's PGA Professional and Director of Golf Operations, Vin Ciarlone, will focus on a different shot and approach. All participants will take away the proper techniques associated with chipping, putting, pitching, sand shots, and full swings with every club in a set.
At the conclusion of the camp, Northampton Valley Country Club is allowing all participants through the junior camp to play a 9-hole round on Saturday, August 22. New for the summer of 2015, parents can play alongside their children so they can show off all the techniques and skills they have learned. The event will be a scramble (best ball).
