MOBE Founder Matt Lloyd put his money where his mouth is on public accountability for entrepreneurs, penalizing himself to the tune of $10,000 for not achieving his fitness goals.

He experienced a very real failure of his own when he declared his fitness goals had fallen short of the mark, losing a $10,000 bet with his followers.
The $10,000 sum was declared up front at the same time as he set his goals, and the failure to achieve them meant the money needed a new home. The MOBE founder decided to give the money to a Diamond Member of the MOBE community, Mike Howley, who was raising money for a cancer charity with a 200km sponsored bike ride.
The event was captured on film at the MOBE HQ in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where Mike shared his story and his motivation for getting involved in the fundraising bike ride. The emotional moment when the money was handed over ensured that Mike broke the record for the largest Conquer Cancer donation raised by any single contributor.
