Subjective is a horror film that was created in 360 degrees in first person immersion style and is the first movie of its kind. Now, creator Leslie Rojas has launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise production and distribution funds for the movie.
Hollywood, FL -- (SBWIRE) -- 05/19/2015 -- Leslie Rojas, creator of the unique film Subjective , has launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for the production and distribution of this movie. Subjective is the first horror film to be recorded in 360 degrees in a single sequence using first-person point of view. This immersive first-person experience is designed to allow the user to become the protagonist of the story.
Subjective tells the story of five American friends who are traveling in Spain and spend the weekend in a country house. They are approached by a Goth couple whose car crashed, seeking shelter. Little do the five friends know that instead of a fun and friendly night, the weekend will become a nightmare when their home is invaded by an insane sect of Satanic worshipers.
Using virtual reality technology, Subjective allows the viewer to take an active role in the film's story line. Viewers utilizes virtual reality glasses in order to view the movie and can "feel the fear up close," according to creator Rojas. "Our goal is to allow the viewer to feel that he or she is a part of the movie," notes Rojas, "and we accomplish that by the use of VR technology. Viewers will participate in the movie as never before, with the feeling that they are in the middle of the action."
