eMaint Improves Its Mobile CMMS User Interface in Recent Update

Mobile Interface, The Hub and Document Storage Revamped in Software Release

Marlton, NJ -- (SBWIRE) -- 05/22/2015 -- eMaint Enterprises, a leader in Computerised Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) since 1986, released a software update to its mobile maintenance platform known as eMaint MX Mobile. This update will allow clients of eMaint to use mobile devices to experience the full potential of eMaint's software.

President and CEO of eMaint Enterprises, Brian Samelson stated, "Traditionally, mobile CMMS applications have been primarily utilised by technicians to record work performed in the field." Samelson later said, "The maintenance world and technology is changing. The lines between mobile devices and computers are blurring. Managers are expecting to work and access real time data on the shop floor or on the go. That was the driving force behind the next generation of mobile maintenance software."

Through the update, the new MX Mobile interface allows maintenance managers and other maintenance specialists and technicians to receive real-time data at their fingertips. Users can close out work orders, customise forms, issue parts, and even contact suppliers directly from their CMMS. The new update allows users to use the CMMS to perform functions that in the past required a desktop computer.

Organisations can use the new and improved MX Mobile to:

1) Increase productivity by simplifying processes
2) Support a paperless work environment
3) Enhance visibility and overall communication
4) Monitor the status of work with real-time data

eMaint originally released MX Mobile in 2008. They paid careful attention to the feedback received from their clients, and kept in touch with the most current trends in technology and software. Through these practices they remain a global leader in CMMS technology and exceptional customer service.

The update also included noteworthy updates to eMaint's flagship product, eMaint X3 CMMS. It included a refined version of the interface of "The Hub," as well as a completely integrated document storage tool. During eMaint's Xcelerate'14 User & Training Conference held in Estero, Florida, in November 2014, 150 of eMaint's clients previewed the various enhancements to the CMMS.
