For example, if your project includes technical documents from a patent infringement litigation pertaining to chemical engineering, you should require the translators to have significant experience and education in this subject matter and in the appropriate language pair pertaining to your matter.
Legal translation projects are also more time-sensitive than traditional translation projects and require rapid turnaround of work as well as the ability to handle after-hour and weekend service requests. Make sure your translation partner has the resources to meet these requests. An experienced LSP will understand the tight time constraints and will provide the right team of project managers and translators to meet your needs.
