Reputation Management Is Dead at the Age of 21

Reputation Management succumbs to long-term uninspiring performance; final services set for March 18 in Atlanta.

Marietta, GA -- (ReleaseWire) -- 10/18/2016 --It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the death of Reputation Management.

After a productive life of helping millions of business owners manage their online reputation, Reputation Management eventually lost its long-time battle by not staying on the cusp of innovation and technology to assist those business owners to increase sales. Reputation Management will always be remembered as the "first step in protecting a business" but also will be known for not being able to grow sales and revenues for businesses before its untimely demise.

Reputation Management is survived by a single business strategy that can carry the mantle of its legacy: Reputation Marketing. Even though they were closely related, Reputation Marketing is the prevailing strategy that allows business owners and managers to successfully grow their businesses using twenty-first century technologies.

While saddened by the passing, Reputation Marketing is dedicated to fulfill, and augment, the legacy of Reputation Management.

Reputation Marketing released the following statement regarding the passing:

"While it's a sad day and we mourn our loss, we are determined to celebrate the life of Reputation Management by providing a platform of Reputation Marketing that is a game changer to all businesses. The fact is that 92% of consumers look at online reviews before making a purchasing decision and 79% of consumers trust online reviews as much as personal referrals. It is no longer 'good enough' to just manage your reputation. To thrive, businesses must have a 5-star reputation AND a system in place to MARKET and syndicate that reputation to as many online outlets as possible. This includes social media, search engines, and your own website. If a business decides to stay with the reactive approach of Reputation Management, relinquishing the advantages of Reputation Marketing, then that business may suffer a similar demise."

Authorities announced that Reputation Management's final wishes were to be cremated. The depleted remains were cremated shortly after the time of death.
