West Melbourne, FL -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/06/2014 -- The Buena Vida Clinic, which is located at one of the retirement centers in Florida, now has a new name: The Buena Vida Wellness Resource Center, in conjunction with Family Home Health Services. Their mission statement is “We are devoted towards the promotion of healthy living as well as the prevention of illness and disease.”
Marianna Zelenak, DO, Board Certified in Internal Medicine with a focus in Geriatrics, is the physician in the Clinic. She is part of the Family Home Physicians group. Dr. Zelenak is a graduate from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences Kansas City, Missouri. She did her Residency at Wellington Regional Medical Center-Internal Medicine/Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine Wellington, FL.
The Clinic, which assists with independent living in Florida, will take a large number of insurance providers, including Health First. Dr. Zelenak. Dr. “Z”, as she likes to be called, will have Clinic hours on Wednesdays, and as the need arises, days and hours will be added. Dr. “Z” will also do rounds for the Buena Vida Assisted Living residents.
Nina Pippa, LPN, Wellness Coordinator, for the clinic, will be handling the day-to-day activities. Nina will be assisting residents with appointments for Casey Martin ARNP, Dr. Marie-Claire Villanueva, Podiatrist and Dr. Marianna Zelenak, Geriatrician.
Family Home Health Services will provide home health services that center on senior living in Florida; these include Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy and nursing care. Solaris Rehab will be partnering to provide “Part B” services.
