BMW Assist uses advanced technology to bring the attention of a response specialist to the occupant’s aid. The technology combines an integrated wireless phone for communication and a GPS satellite receiver to determine the vehicle’s location.

BMW also offers many preventative safety features, such as adaptive brake lights, which alert other drivers when the vehicle is stopping quickly, lane departure warning, night vision, and a rearview camera system.
