Rosendin Electric Names Additional Officers to Accommodate Business Growth

San Jose, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 04/02/2011 -- Rosendin Electric, the nation’s largest private electrical contractor and a 100% employee-owned company, today announced the promotion of six key personnel to new positions as senior vice president and vice president. These appointments have been made to accommodate new growth in regional markets.

Steve Foxworthy is now Senior Vice President, Field Operations. Steve has been with Rosendin Electric since 1981. During his three-decade tenure, Steve has held various positions with Rosendin Electric, most recently as Vice President, Field Operations. Steve has managed a wide range of projects spanning biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, commercial construction, high-technology, electrical distribution, and renewable energy. As Senior Vice President, Steve will continue to focus on safety, productivity improvement, new construction technology, and field personnel training.

Willie Micene has been named Senior Vice President of Operations for the Northwest (including Sacramento), Southwest, and Mid-Atlantic Region. Willie has more than 15 years experience with Rosendin Electric serving as Project Manager, Division Manager, and most recently Regional Vice President, with responsibility for overseeing three Rosendin Electric operating divisions in San Jose and Sacramento. Willie’s tenure includes healthcare, data center, biotechnology, airport, and office complex projects. He has served as team leader for the Rosendin Electric Design-Build Initiative Team and has overseen design-build projects that have added more than $400 million in revenue to the company. Willie is also a key member of the firm’s Mission Critical Operations Group.

Rick Shandrew has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Bay Area Operations. Rick has more than 15 years of service with Rosendin Electric, serving as Project Manager, Division Manager, Vice President, and Regional Vice President overseeing a variety of civic, transportation, waste water, and acute healthcare projects, as well as several large high-tech campuses throughout the Bay Area. Among many other significant undertakings, Rick’s teams are currently overseeing the reconstruction of nearly every major hospital in San Francisco.

Bill Mazzetti has been named Senior Vice President. Bill has been with Rosendin Electric for more than six years and has been instrumental in expanding the company’s engineering group, especially in the areas of mission critical design and consulting, BIM systems, and Integrated Project Delivery systems. An expert in over 12 building types and industries, Bill is also a registered engineer in 21 states and is a noted author and lecturer in mission critical design, construction, and facility operations. Before joining Rosendin Electric, Bill led Mazzetti & Associates (now Mazzetti + Nash Lipsey Burch), a 140-person, nationally based, multi-discipline building engineering and technology firm.

Mike Greenawalt has been appointed Vice President with leadership responsibility for Southwest Operations. Mike has been with Rosendin Electric for nearly ten years and has held management positions for projects in Utah, New Jersey, and North Carolina while continuing to manage Southwest Operations, delivering high-value and complex work in industries such as high technology, transportation, mining, corrections, gaming and hospitality, data processing, and renewable energy. Mike is also part of Rosendin Electric’s Mission Critical Operations Group and oversees a majority of the firm’s remote mission critical work in the US, including the new Facebook data center campus in Forest City, NC.

Matt Englert has been promoted to Vice President. Matt has been working with Rosendin Electric for more than a decade, and leads the Rosendin Electric Mission Critical Operations Group.Matt has been the guiding force in developing this Group, from its inception to a practice that now averages over $250 million per year in revenue. In addition, Matt is the originator and developer of Rosendin Electric’s proprietary manufactured electrical system, The Modular Power CenterTM, in concert with new approaches and technologies for use in the field, such as the customized Vela Tracking System that integrates project tracking with QA/QC and commissioning processes.
