The article, entitled, “Important Conversations: The Things Your Machines Can Teach You,” authored by Kip Hanson, discussed how Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) are faster, more flexible, and less expensive to monitor than other shop floor systems.
According to the Hanson, “MES provider with boasting rights is System Insights.” According to CTO, Dr. Athulan Vijayaraghavan, the company’s VIMANA software applies pattern matching technology to measure real-time productivity and find opportunities for improvement.
