Where is stability? Where is safety? In healthy communities! This is the bedrock of TKOFCD’s dedication in partnering with communities in Ghana where 5000 cases of cholera cases and 45 deaths have been recorded since July 2014, a situation caused by very poor sanitation and environmental degradation. TKOFCD has spent over $40,000 on preliminary studies, community engagement, a multidisciplinary team of experts’ (engineers, urban planners and architects from North America) travel to the community, and architectural and engineering plans for a health and sanitation project for La, Greater Accra, Ghana.

TKOFCD’s perspective is holistic – teaming up with indigenous organisations and community governments and combining education, infrastructure provision and management to nurture positive attitudes, awareness, and responsibility to what good health is worth among urban slum dwellers. All that stands between TKOFCD’s continuing support and implementation of the sanitation projects in these communities is your kind participation. Until you give you won’t know how much you care.

Come support healthy communities! Get to know us @ www.tkofcd.org
