Spokane, WA -- (SBWIRE) -- 01/23/2015 -- In December of 2014, Universal Funding generously donated over $15,000 to local charities that provide services throughout the Spokane and Coeur d'Alene communities.
"We have been a longtime supporter of the CDA Press and their annual Christmas for All drive. $10,000 was presented to the Coeur d'Alene Press 28th Annual Christmas for All Benefit and an additional $5,000 was presented to Catholic Charities Spokane. Universal Funding is planning on donating close to $50,000 in total to more local organizations in the next coming months.
"Catholic Charities Spokane serves over 70,000 people in 13 counties, regardless of their faith affiliation. Our contribution allows them to keep their doors open for more days each week and to provide more meals to those who need assistance in our community," shares Jordan Hestness, Universal Funding's Director of Operations, who brought the charity to the attention of the board when determining which charities would be on the receiving end of their annual donations. Another list of recipients will be announced later in 2015.
