William R. Cobb Starts Kickstarter Campaign with a Vision to Save America's Small Business Through His Online Educational Program

This project is about a user friendly, on-line educational program designed to encourage the start-up and operation of small business ventures.

 

Fort Collins, CO -- (SBWIRE) -- 06/25/2014 -- William R. (Bill) Cobb is a successful business Executive, Entrepreneur, Author and Speaker, who has served as Executive Vice President for a communications equipment company, Regional Vice President of a communication services company, President of a Federal Contracting firm, and Vice President and General Manager for a division of a Fortune 50 Corporation. He is also the author of “Targeted Tactics – Transforming Strategy into Measurable Results,” and co-author of “Business Alchemy: Turning Ideas into Gold.”

According to the Business Employment Dynamics program and the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics:

-In the years 2009, 2010, and 2011 more than 216,800 employer small business firms went out of business than were newly created

-Nearly six in ten businesses shut down within the first four years of operation.

-The numbers of jobs created by establishments less than one year old have decreased from 4.1 million in 1994, when the BED series began, to 2.5 million in 2010.

-The number of new business establishments for the year ending in March 2010 was lower than any other year since the BED began tracking statistics in 1994.

William R. Cobb is looking to improve this picture by launching an affordable online education program designed specifically for the new entrepreneurs and business owners. All donations received will be used to create and enable internet access to the different segments of the program.
