Trouble at Alcatel Lucent | Jeff Kagan Tech Analyst

Alcatel Lucent shows trouble continues to brew. This is not new. Several years ago before the acquisition Lucent was struggling. The acquisition with a stronger Alcatel was supposed to raise Lucent. Instead it dragged down Alcatel.

How much of this was the fault of the merger and how much was the fault of the changing industry?

What is the future for Alcatel Lucent? This is an important question for customers, investors and workers.

We just don’t have an answer yet, but so far Alcatel Lucent is heading in the wrong direction.
