Update: RIM Blackberry is Out in USA as of 7:16am | Jeff Kagan Tech Analyst

Will the pain ever end? It’s not just overseas any longer.

As of 7:16am this morning I stopped getting email on my Blackberry on both AT&T Mobility and Verizon Wireless. I don’t have a Blackberry on the other networks, but if AT&T and Verizon are blacked out I can guess every other US network is also.

The RIM Blackberry outage is not good news for the struggling company as it tries to improve going forward.

In the past these outages were annoyances.

Today with the growing smart phone sector and competitors like Apple iPhone and Google Android eating RIM’s lunch, this Blackberry outage could be very damaging to the company.
