Alek Britva
Founder and President
Alek Britva is the sole owner of EMF Power Co. in Northbrook and has been in business since April of 2000. He has built a solid reputation and strong industry affiliations within Electrical Contracting simply through a word-of-mouth business approach. He immigrated with his family to the United States from Minsk, Belarus in 1981, and grew up in Glenview. He graduated from Glenbrook South High School in 1994 and received his Electrician Certification in 1998 from Coyne American Institute in Chicago. He has experience as a General Contractor in rehabs, investment properties, and multi-unit property management. He currently holds certifications in Mold Remediation and Abatement of Lead-Based Paint. His professional interests include new advancements in Green Technology with a focus on Solar and Wind Renewable Energy, Generac Generator Systems, and Thermal Imaging surveys. He has over fifteen years of experience in the Electrical Contracting industry and has worked on projects for residential, commercial and industrial clientele.
