Christopher Kerr

Chris joined the Ignatian Solidarity Network (ISN) as executive director in July 2011. He served as the coordinator for social justice and immersion experience programs in John Carroll University’s campus ministry office for six years. During this time he brought leadership to the growth of JCU’s immersion experience program, initiated a campus education on fair trade supported by Catholic Relief Services, and co-directed the Arrupe Scholars Program for Social Action.

Kerr also served as a co-organizer of the Ohio Fair Trade Network and served as the chair of the host committee for the Ohio Fair Trade Expo from 2009-2011. Prior to this he directed the campus ministry and community service programs at St. Edward High School in Lakewood, Ohio, and taught social studies, language arts, and religion at Metro Catholic Parish School in Cleveland, Ohio. Chris also worked part-time for five years with the InterReligious Task Force on Central America, focusing on youth and young adult outreach and legislative advocacy.

He received a B.A. in elementary education and M.A. in education administration from John Carroll University in University Heights, Ohio.
