On May 16, the When in Need Foundation will be hosting their "Soles for Education" Inaugural Fundraiser and Luncheon in New York City at 6pm. The event aims to provide new shoes for students at the Samuel Njemaze Primary School in Owerri, Nigeria as a sequel to renovating two new buildings for the school. When in Need Foundation provides educational grants to people from disadvantaged communities both in the United States and Africa. The group also provides preventive health education on various medical conditions, supports individuals with autism and other disabilities, and sustains clean energy initiatives. The group has organized a variety of fairs, seminars, and workshops to generate awareness of preventive healthcare education, especially in the past year.
