Made of Bamboo is founded by Munir Vahanvati and Mittul Vahanvati. We are architects and designers, passionate about sustainability. We have more than 15 years of professional experience, working on a range of design and construction projects. We run a design + build studio called Giant Grass. We have been exploring with bamboo for more than 13 years designing and building structures, furnitures, products and facilitating training workshops, in Australia and overseas. Our projects have been represented at various international conferences including World Bamboo Congress in Bangkok and South Korea and Global Bamboo Summit in Vietnam. In 2015 our design (f)route pod received great recognition internationally and was published in various design blogs around world. We also won silver for this design at the Melbourne Design Award. Made of Bamboo was born after us becoming parents and from our passion for design and sustainability.
