Pacific Audiology Launches New Website Highlighting Hearing Loss Solutions
According to statistics published by the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders, 37.5 million Americans (about 15 percent of the population) aged 18 and over have reported having some trouble hearing. Unfortunately, among adults aged 20 to 69 who could benefit from a hearing aid, only 16 percent of them ever use them. This number rises to only 30 percent among those aged 70 years and older.
