The When In Need Foundation provides educational support for students in Africa and other parts of the world. The When In Need Foundation is known around Philadelphia for their recent charitable deeds involving school children, disadvantaged families and individuals in need. In recent months, the foundation has traveled abroad to serve men women and children all over the world.

All throughout the year, The WIN Foundation gives back to individuals in need. April and May were no different, with the non-profit organization undertaking several philanthropic missions to better communities domestic and abroad. In recent months, CEO Chetachi Ecton has received several awards for her efforts in serving children and families providing educational grant assistance for Africa, food for the homeless in Philadelphia and many other charitable deeds.

On November 19th, When In Need Foundation(WiN) presented four educational scholarships of $1,000 each to recipients from Philadelphia area schools, which were St. Francis De Dales School, John Hallahan Girls Catholic School, City School and The Roman Catholic School at the Enterprise Center in Philadelphia. The Keynote Speaker at the event was The Honorable Councilwoman Jannie L. Blackwell - 3rd District and Chair, Education Committee who stressed the importance of a getting a good education, with special remarks from Councilman David OH – Minority Whip, Hon. Stanley Straughter and State Rep. Vanessa Brown.

That's why the group has dedicated the benefit solely to supporting children's causes around the world, including Africa, to raise educational grant assistance and other donations.

The nonprofit organization, When In Need Foundation, is pleased to announce that they are hosting their Restoring Hope Gala Event on September 24, from 6pm to 11pm, at the Antun's Banquet Hall in Queens Village, NYC. The event is being held in light of the foundation's global Mission of Mercy Tour, which is a program that aims to assist individuals in need with living necessities. The benefit is solely dedicated to supporting children's causes globally by providing them with donations, preventative health education in Africa, support and grants.

The When In Need Foundation has been busy at work embarking on its Mission of Mercy (M.O.M) Tour. The Mission of Mercy Tour is a global outreach program of the non-profit organization that aims to assist individuals in need around the world with basic amenities such as supplies, food, healthcare and medical items, and educational resources. The foundation works to support orphanages, schools and hostels that function to help those less fortunate from all areas of the globe by providing them with the resources they need. Donations that are made to the When In Need Foundation help the organization to achieve the efforts of their Mission of Mercy Tour.

The When In Need Foundation hosted their "Soles for Education" Inaugural Fundraiser and Luncheon in New York City on May 16, where funds were collected to provide the students at the Samuel Njemaze Primary School in Owerri, Nigeria, with new shoes. At the event, numerous honorees were recognized with Awards of Excellence. Among them were NBC News Anchor Sheinelle Jones of "Weekend Today," Senator James Sanders Jr. of the 10th Senatorial District in Queens, NY, and Rosa Marte, the President of the Corona Lions Club in Queens, NY.
