Casa De San Pedro Teams Up with Naturalist Journeys to Offer an Adventurous Getaway for Arizona Monsoon Madness

LogoThe American Southwest has a lot to offer – the Painted Desert, the Petrified Forest, and – of course – the Grand Canyon. While there are too many wonders to list here, one that truly stands out – not just in this country, but around the world as well – is when the heavy summer rains usher in the "Arizona Monsoon Madness". Here the majesty of nature holds nothing back as a "second spring" flourishes in Arizona's mountains and deserts with lush green vegetation. This summer, the lovely Casa de San Pedro teams up with Naturalist Journeys to offer an unforgettable experience for both bird and nature lovers alike.

Casa De San Pedro Offers a Comfortable Nest to Stay in During Southwest Wings Birding and Nature Festival

LogoOne of the most coveted spots for bird viewing in all of the American Southwest can be found just along the San Pedro River in Cochise County. Snuggly situated just moments from its beautiful banks, the lovely Casa de San Pedro Bed & Breakfast offers a quiet and relaxing getaway for birders and non-birders alike. Whether it's to simply to escape from the city, explore nature, enjoy fresh made delicious food or all of the above, this inviting oasis in the desert casts a spell of serenity on all its guests that is not soon forgotten.

Casa De San Pedro Anticipates Abundant Spring Migration

LogoAs we put the winter days behind us and enter into spring, Casa de San Pedro B&B is frequented by hundreds of bird species migrating over their beautiful grasslands, canyons, and along the San Pedro River wetlands. The bed and breakfast has an ideal location on the San Pedro River that provides perfect pathway for birds to follow the river's green stripe through the Sky Islands of Southeastern Arizona. Casa de San Pedro hosts weekly river walks with the Southeastern Arizona Bird Observatory (SABO) through April and May. SABO hosts hummingbird bandings, and the Southwest Wings Birding Festival holds their Spring Fling Birding Event, and other activities are available during the local birding festival. During Spring Migration, new arrivals of bird species show up daily. Many types of Orioles, Buntings, Warblers, Kingbirds, and Hummingbirds are most likely to be seen during this time period.
