According to wikipedia the Bugatti Veyron is indisputably the fastest and most expensive production car ever built, the Veyron has a verified 0-60 time of 2.46 seconds and it's massive 8 litre, 16 cylinder engine with 4 turbos attached can produce over 1000 horse power and manage a top speed of around 250 miles an hour. Only the Ariel Atom is faster to 60 but that doesn't have doors, a windscreen or roof (not good for a limo) and it can only manage about 160 mph at the top end too.
