Originally from Mexico City, Executive Taco Daddy Chef, Damian Portugez recalls growing up with his mother and abuelita who grew authentic peppers and spices to use in their home meals. He credits them as his inspiration which led him to working at a small restaurant in Mexico City. 10 years later he is still cooking the fiesta meal combining his Mexican heritage with his love for American culture.
