The game starts out with a training mode, so players can learn all the moves they will need to navigate their way through the levels. After that, you get dropped on the island and face the dinosaurs! The movement is like platform games such as the Super Mario series, in that all the movement is from left to right, no moving around things or different camera angles. But for kids, it just makes the game that much easier to navigate through and they need it!
