In a recent Facebook post, Amy brought clarity to her fans by stating, "Okay I've gotten a million messages about this so let me clarify: I'm ADDING Bellator into my life. I am still shooting. I'm still doing both of my shows. I'm still stunting. I'm still doing everything else."

This was in response to an onslaught of comments and questions from her social media audience expressing concern that she was moving away from the competitive shooting world. "This is not a replacement. This is an addition," Amy emphatically confirms.

"This wasn't something I was going out of my way to get into, they approached me." Amy had been working with action actor and former mixed martial arts athlete Cung Le in helping him prepare to use firearms for an upcoming role.

"Before I knew it I was introduced to Bellator MMA CEO, Scott Coker and they flat out offered to fly me to every fight; all expenses paid," Amy exclaimed.

"I get to watch all the fights just a few feet away from the ring, and I get adopted into the amazing Bellator family, which is full of just really great and fun people. Just hours after participating in her first Bellator MMA event in St. Louis last week, an Instagram post reveals her excitement about the new career "addition."

The Instagram post read, "Test two are beyond awesome. They busted out some anchorman quotes and I was like: did we just become best friends?"
