Bel Air, MD -- (SBWIRE) -- 09/18/2015 -- On Saturday, October 10, 2015, rain or shine, Main Street Oyster House, the downtown Bel Air restaurant with the landmark mural, hosts a family-friendly, free-admission event— the 3rd Annual Wine, Beer, and Oyster Festival. A portion of the proceeds of the entire day will go to the Kaufman Cancer Center to help fund their facility.

The Kaufman Cancer Center serves more than 100 patients per day, providing access to world-class cancer care. They also offer local cancer patients and their loved ones free-of-charge supportive care services through Cancer LifeNet.

The October 10th event is also sponsored by 16 Mile Brewery, Van Gogh Vodka, and the Oyster Bay Brewing Company. It will feature local vendors, live music all day by John Nichols Band, What's Next and Chalk Dust, silent auction, children's activities, outdoor beer with Harpoon and Heavy Seas, as well as wine and oyster stands.

Main Street Oyster House is participating with Bel Air's October 'Paint the Town Pink' campaign by donating a portion of all sales that day.
