"The Near-Death Experiencer's Path to Healing & Wholeness"
A Conference Open to the Public in Orlando, Florida – July 28–31, 2016
At the Embassy Suites Orlando – Lake Buena Vista South

The conference title is Explore the Extraordinary: The Near-Death Experiencer's Path to Healing and Wholeness. The conference will feature NY Times bestselling author, Anita Moorjani, Suzanne Giesemann and many others. There is still an opportunity to submit a proposal for consideration to participate in this conference.

The focus on this conference suggests that near-death and near-death-like experiences often result in a greater sense of well-being and purpose in life. Yet the journey of integrating the experience is often fraught with challenges. The path to greater healing and wholeness is one that most people walk in life, and this topic is all the more exciting because of the extraordinary experiences that many of the presenters have had or have helped others to integrate. The International Association for Near-Death Studies (IANDS) is calling for proposals by potential presenters to be submitted for this conference by Sunday, Jan. 10, 2016.

Full instructions — Those knowledgeable in this field are invited to submit a proposal for a workshop, lecture, panel participation, poster presentation or art display. Conference Objectives:

- Promote disclosure, description and classification of the phenomena associated with near-death and related experiences, demonstrating integration to health and wholeness in the experiencer's life.

- Identify practices and insights that may help those in the healing professions (doctors, nurses, hospice, chaplains) to support near-death experiencers (NDErs) and others with spiritually transformative experiences to achieve health and wholeness.

- Compare and contrast insights about the aftereffects of near-death-related phenomena when viewed from the experiencer, scientific and/or spiritual perspectives.

- Discuss recent research on near-death-related phenomena and associated experiences, with an emphasis on achieving health and wholeness.

IANDS welcomes proposals for workshops, lecture presentations, panel sessions, poster presentations and art displays that meet one or more of the conference objectives. Presenters may be those who have had a near-death experience, or others who are knowledgeable in this field.

Have you had a near-death experience and want to share your story at this conference? Presentations of individual near-death experience (NDE) stories will be scheduled on one of the near-death experiencer (NDEr) panels. If you want to be considered for an NDEr panel, specify that in the abstract. The Objectives, Outline and Degrees sections then do not need to be filled in.

The policy of the International Association for Near-Death Studies (IANDS) states that its purpose is to promote responsible, multi-disciplinary exploration of near-death and similar experiences. IANDS is impartial and open to the presentation of varying points of view. While all personal beliefs are respected, IANDS does not support proselytizing or promoting personal religious beliefs.
