Matawan, NJ -- (SBWIRE) -- 06/09/2014 -- Caverns Deep is a roller coaster ride for horror fans delivering a new kind of fear tapping into new wells of sensation and emotion through the terrific story of Bellalicia, the Princess of Uradorn, born with unequaled beauty. She was buried alive underground in catacombs constructed deep beneath an impenetrable fortress called Caverns Deep.

Caverns Deep will take horror fans on the journey to this ancient world to help quell this rebellion and the escape of the infamous Bellalicia. The sojourn to Caverns Deep starts out as a f a traditional haunt - a self-guided tour through an elaborate maze with horrifying scares. Then things take a sharp twist.

Through this horror movie, the audience will be treated to dark creatures, disarming beauties and hair-raising atrocities. Kicking up the thrills a notch, everyone will be frozen in place by earthquakes and cave-ins, tight squeezes along cracked edges of the earth, and walks across rickety rope bridges on the verge of collapse.

Christopher Herlong’s approach is a bit different than other haunts. There will be use of live actors with a primarily female cast, showing a point in time within a larger story where everything is connected and related. At the end of the walk, people will be shaking their head at how much sense it all makes as they try and shrug off their fearful experience.

Parents can bring along their kids. Youngsters won't be allowed in but free childcare with movies and games will be available so mom and dad can enjoy a night out without having to worry about a babysitter. Brave older children can enter at their own risk accompanied by a supervising adult. Less brave children can purchase a discounted flash-light tour.

The event will run for five weeks from Friday, September 27th through Friday, October 31st and will be open to the general public starting at 7 pm Wednesday through Sunday. A special children's Meet-n-Treat event will be held on October 25th and 26th from 2 pm to 4 pm.

General admission is $17 per ticket. VIP entrance and second tours can be purchased at an extra cost. Flash light tours for children are available for $10. The Meet-n-Treat event is $7 per child with free parent admission. Season passes are also available starting at $85.

The $233,000 funding amount will be broken up as follows:

Startup Costs - $33,000
Build Costs - $70,000
Operational Costs - $109,000
Kickstarter and Transaction Fees - $21,000

This project will only be funded if at least $233,000 is pledged by Mon, Jun 23 2014 5:24 AM +05:30.
