8th Annual Law Series/India Nigeria Business Forum, 2015 two-day event was held at the Vivanta by Taj Hotel, Mumbai. The event generally adjudged a success brought in to light a much clear direction as to likely economic trends and future prospects for ICT development and partnerships in Nigeria, against a backdrop of the current uncertainty in the global economy and declining oil prices. The theme of the conference focused the potential of Information and Communication Technology ("ICT") the further growth and development of the Indian and the Nigerian economy. ICT totals up to $50 Billion of national GDP in Nigeria, and major players of the industry have shown interest in the expansion of ICT in India and explore shared business opportunities between the two countries.

The adoption of digital technology/ICT in Both India and Nigeria to enhance the quality of urban services and the ability to engage more effectively with the citizenry.

The effective use of technological innovations affecting information management in the Oil & Gas industry to greatly curtail wastage and theft.

High level of investment from both the public and private sector in ICT and technical know-how is crucial to boost productivity and enhance Nigeria's economic outlook.

Private sector of both countries especially Nigeria were encouraged to diversify and encourage new business realms. Their support was also deemed necessary for the infrastructural development of Nigeria supported by proper legislative framework.
