Couples in Tokyo have been opting to get shrink wrapped together for bizarre photo shoots – risking their lives to showcase their love for one another.
Despite the risk of death, photographer Hal Kawaguchi has recently been flooded with requests for this new style of photoshoot, with many couples, and even a number of newlyweds opting to be shrink wrapped for portraits to mark their close bonds. Some couples choose to completely strip off whilst others choose to showcases themes using fancy dress outfits. Whilst photoshoots are being done, paramedics are on hand at all times in case of emergencies and to ensure that couples are not suffocated because once covered in lube and vacuumed packed couples cannot breath and therefore Hal only has around four seconds to take the pictures.
A spokesperson from dominant UK shrink wrap machinery provider Sontex was keen to comment saying, "Although we understand the thought pattern behind this new photography craze, and comprehend that it is allowing couples to become one for just a few moments, we believe that there are other much better ways of doing just this – and much safer too. Shrink wrapping people is incredibly dangerous and we definitely wouldn't recommend anyone else trying it."
