Wiltshire, UK -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/21/2016 -- A team of imaginative graphic designers, product development professionals, and marketers at Cleva Games have joined forces to create a board game for all budding entrepreneurs, business owners, business wannabes, know-it-all's and anyone over the age of 12 called .Com Battles where players buy, sell and sabotage other players businesses to be crowned winner. The .Com Battle project is currently in need of funding to cover the game's production and various other expenses, a crowdfunding campaign has been launched on KickStarter with a funding goal of at least £37,000 to be raised by Tue, Apr 12 2016.
.Com Battle takes its inspiration from the ups and downs of internet buying and selling, however, players can build their internet commerce empire by buying and selling while also playing dirty to sabotage the business reputation of other players by using real-world tactics used to put an end to competition in the online business world.
Head of the .Com Battles team and the crowdfunding campaign, Vinson Pike said: ".Com Battles is all about buying from and selling to others in an attempt to make the best deals and become the market leader. But to succeed, players will have to sabotage the business reputation of other players by destroying their feedback, obliterating their sales and making it difficult for them to keep their business afloat. The mechanics of the boardgame have been developed by the team to be easy to understand. However, players will be required to apply their strategic thinking skills, planning and decision making skills to master the game. The team is hard at work fine tuning and improving the various aspects of the game to make it truly unique, interesting and entertaining.
The ongoing Kickstarter with a £37,000 funding goal has seen some progress since its launch. However the team behind the campaign would like to continue building momentum, they looking towards the generosity of the online crowd. The funds raised through the current crowdfunding campaign will be allocated to the production of the game.
