Prague, Czech Republic -- (SBWIRE) -- 09/10/2014 -- For shy people, trying to approach others for friendship, dating or even a love relationship can be nerve wracking and even cause anxiety attacks. For some it’s about not wanting to appear clumsy. For others, confusion sets in and fear takes over. One Czech developer, Lukas Mastik, has created and iPhone and Android app to help people find friends more easily and has launched an Indiegogo campaign to bring awareness of the app to those who need it most.

Buddy Finder as the app is called, works by finding people in a 320' perimeter that share things in common with you. These potential 'buddies' all have a marker indicating whether they are looking for love, friendship or seeking to flirt. So say one is a shy guy and sees a cute girl at the coffee shop. He doesn't want to over step if she already has a boyfriend, and doesn't want to miss an opportunity if she also shares a love for jazz. Using Buddy Finder, he sees her profile on the app and can now approach her by name with the idea of meeting up after coffee at a great jazz club around the corner because she was looking for love in the right place.

A couple software companies in the Czech Republic have already approached Lukas with interest in taking Buddy Finder to the next level and have the proven track records to complete the project to market successfully. The money raised in this campaign will be used to fund market research on the app and to complete its development process to market as well as helping to pay for the perks that will be given to donors as a reward for helping out financially with the project.

The App programmer understands not everyone may be able to give money to help this project, so they ask that those who cannot give monetarily help by spreading the word about Buddy Finder online through social media.
