The report highlights the biggest barrier faced by the industry is the red tape and rules surrounding the regulation and policy making for electronic cigarettes.

The European Union will address the Tobacco Products Directive including the regulation of strength and size of e-liquids as well as placing limitations on the size of the clearomizer. Additionally, if a qualified healthcare professional deems the product unsafe, it could be banned right across the board in the entire European Union which could cause disastrous results for some companies.
