High Point, NC -- (SBWIRE) -- 08/31/2015 -- Just like every other ImageFIRST location across the country, ImageFIRST North Carolina proudly participated in, and donated to, many charities and non-profits within the communities they serve throughout the first half of 2015. Nine team members from their North Carolina location even had a blast participating in a 5K this past April for a local organization, "Community Outreach of Archdale-Trinity" (COAT).
COAT is an organization comprised of individuals, businesses, service organizations and area churches. Together, all of them donate their time and effort to fill backpacks with food that are then given to elementary and middle school children to take home on the weekends. The goal of COAT's 5K run this year was to raise enough money to support their efforts for an entire year.
All nine individuals of the ImageFIRST North Carolina team that donated their Saturday morning to the 5K had a great time. Plus, not only did they get the chance to enjoy some exercise on a warm April day, but they got to do it for a great cause.
The ImageFIRST North Carolina team was glad to have run in this event and looks forward to doing more events like this in the future. In fact, apart from running COAT's 5K this year, ImageFIRST North Carolina donated over $1,800 to the Wounded Warrior Project® this past June.
