To honor and recognize these associates, several ImageFIRST locations organized activities such as serving food, giving out gift bags, and presenting veterans with a specially-designed sweatshirt.
The ImageFIRST Corporate office invited a police officer veteran to speak about his experience as a member of the United States Marine Corps. Associates were given the chance to ask questions and view some informative slides regarding the Department of Defense. The guest speaker, as well as the Corporate office's veteran associate, were recognized and presented with a sweatshirt, while food and beverages were served for all.
Other ImageFIRST locations across the country recognized veterans in different ways. The ImageFIRST team in Chicago played "Patriotic Games," while the team in Atlanta put together gift bags for veterans. The North Carolina team hosted a breakfast for all their associates on Veterans' Day, and the Los Angeles team created shadow boxes, which they presented to the veterans with a sweatshirt during a specially-planned lunch with their favorite foods. Finally, in Dallas, the ImageFIRST team celebrated by giving bags of red, white, and blue popcorn to each associate. Additionally, a list of associates with family members that served was posted and framed for everyone to see.
