Los Angeles, CA -- (ReleaseWire) -- 03/12/2014 -- KM Fine Arts hosted a private VIP Opening Reception for Los Angeles based artist Alexander Yulish and his latest exhibition AN UNQUIET MIND at their intimate showroom in West Hollywood on Saturday, March 8, 2014.
This is Yulish’s first solo show with KM Fine Arts, which features 12 new works accompanied by a fully illustrated catalogue with essay by New York art critic and curator Doug McClemont.
The evening kicked off early, with guests arriving excitedly to be part of the select few to take a first glimpse at the artwork. Throughout the evening esteemed guests enjoyed music and cocktails, courtesy of Hanson of Sonoma Vodka, whilst admiring Yulish’s impressive work. Alexander Yulish himself was in attendance, along with his mother, famed artist and sculptor, Barbara Pearlman.
Guests then moved on to the official after party at the exclusive Soho House, West Hollywood where the celebrations continued into the night.

Alexander Yulish’s work can be found in numerous prominent collections, most recently placed in the Annenberg’s and the Eugenio Lopez collection. Yulish, was born in New York City in 1975, and is the son of famed artist and sculptor Barbara Perlman whose continued influence on his work is considerable. Upon his graduation from Columbia Prep and Connecticut College, Yulish moved to Los Angeles where the brush became a revelation for the artist, and painting remains the favored form of self-expression for releasing the colors in his head. Yulish was chosen by Los Angeles Confidential Magazine as one of 7 Los Angeles artists to watch.
Yulish’s current exhibition AN UNQUIET MIND will be on view in KM’s West Hollywood showroom from March 11th – April 23, 2014.
