Lesbians Who Tech (And Friends) Philadelphia Hosts August Happy Hour at Franky Bradley's

Bristol, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 07/22/2016 -- The Philadelphia chapter of Lesbians Who Tech, a community organization of queer women in and around tech (and those who love them), is pleased to announce that its next happy hour is slated to take place on August 4, 2016 from 5:30 PM to 7 PM at Franky Bradley's in Philadelphia, PA. Founded in 2012 by Leanne Pittsford, Lesbians Who Tech has expanded from its San Francisco home base to include over 15,000 queer women and allies in tech across the country (plus 5 international cities).

Led by City Director CJ Bachmann—who is also VP of 1SEO.com Digital Agency—the Philadelphia chapter of Lesbians Who Tech is a vital part of the city's LGBTQ and tech communities. Bachmann invites any and all newcomers to join Lesbians Who Tech at their next happy hour to meet new friends, network, enjoy some delicious appetizers courtesy of 1SEO.com Digital Agency and learn more about getting involved in Lesbians Who Tech's mission.

As a community, Lesbians Who Tech hopes to help queer women in the tech workforce be more visible to each other, and to gain visibility for women, lesbians and members of the LGBTQ community. Only 1 out of 15 STEM workers are women, and Lesbians Who Tech plays an essential role in the fight for equal representation in STEM and a more woman-friendly, queer-friendly world. Lesbians Who Tech also connects to LGBTQ and women's organizations who are doing community work that champions the advancement of women, queer people and their allies.

Those interested in attending the event can sign up on Eventbrite and RSVP on Facebook.
