MIT Schools Organized State-Level Robotics Competition for School Children That Held on February 14th& 15th 2014

 

Kothrud, Pune -- (SBWIRE) -- 04/01/2014 -- MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul Schools organized a state-level robotics competition for the school children that held on February 14th & 15th 2014. On mission to spread Robotics culture among young generations and provide an excellent platform, they contributed for the same. They initiated for Junior Robocon in association with Robokidz India LLP, Pune.

The competition involved the school children from the age group of 6 years and above, to instil the robotics culture which stands for precision and consistent quality especially to these interior and semi-urban areas of Maharashtra. Event was initiated with VGS-Pandharpur as a platform and invited the school students to participate. The event was supported by the MIT Academy of Engineering , Alandi and Doordarshan Sahyadri Channel.

They believe that the Country’s future is massively dependent on the growth of younger generation. So, it is very necessary to build trust and power among the younger generation through which they can build their knowledge.

The students were guided, prior to this event and were given 8 to 12 hours of rigorous training on assembling and handling the robots based on this year’s theme “Clean and Green Earth”. This entire training was handled by Robokidz LLP India in association with the students of MIT Academy of Engineering.
