Newell started Edge Development for land developing and commercial retail construction. Newell started SUMS-Worldwide consulting work in land-acquisition and development-projects including 114th Redwood Associates LLC, which is engaged in land-development and construction. Newell then started NewellCo Energy which acquires land-leases and develops production oil-wells. Newell is a partner in several single and multi-family land development deals and became VP of Lake City Enterprises.
